The IFRS functions principally to sponsor and promote the International Fibrinogen Workshops which meet in alternate years. The meetings are open to all investgators and scientists including physicians with a clinical or basic research interest in fibrinogen. These colloquia provide a forum for collegial presentations and discussions of new findings and perspectives. Many collaborations and friendships have been kindled at previous Workshops, and our goal is to continue this tradition. Members of the IFRS receive reduced registration fees for the Workshop, a reduced subscription rate for Blood Coagulation and Fibrinolysis (BC&F), privileges for updates on IFRS and postings from members, and a membership directory.

ptional subscriptions to BC&F is $345.00 for Domestic, EU, or non-EU countries. Total membership and subscription is $385.00. Students can join at no cost with a written statement of status and signed by their research advisor. Membership applications can be obtained from this page or:
